Johnny Was Nominated for Raindance feature prize

test
Johnny Was has been nominated for a Raindance feature award at the prestigious London indie festival. Judges include Lou Reid, Judy Dench and Kevin MacDonald.
Raindance said:
“Set in a violent underworld, this is the story of a clash of two cultures –Yardie gangs and dissident Irish republicans, both with a penchant for firepower. It’s all played out against a reggae soundtrack from renowned DJ-producer Adrian Sherwood. The casting is bold, and inspired - all give spirited performances. Vinnie Jones in particular is surprisingly credible and disarmingly sympathetic. Brendan Foley’s bright, often witty script has a killer outcome.” LL
